Biography
Mr. Irfan Ali earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical (Computer) Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, on a fully-funded scholarship named “Prime Minister National Information Communication Technology Rural and Development (ICT R& D)” and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, Pakistan. During his bachelor’s degree, he achieved another scholarship from United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) for one semester as an exchange student to the US at one of the most prestigious and renowned universities in the world, Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Okmulgee, USA. Previously he was associated with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus. He has more than 6 years of teaching and research experience at the university level. His research interests include scheduling algorithms, parallel computing, and scheduling techniques for multi-core processing systems. He has also published his research work in impact factor international research journals and international conferences.
