National & International Accreditations

National Accreditation of Programs

National Business Education Accreditation Council is a body to assure quality in Business Administration/Public Administration/Management Sciences degree programs according to the proposed accreditation in educational institutions. It requires a program to meet certain defined standards or criteria. Our business programs are re-accredited by this council for a period of five (05) years and awarded "W" category.

National Computing Education Accreditation Council looks after the matters regarding the accreditation of institutions and their departments, faculties and disciplines by giving them appropriate ratings and defining the organization's objectives, functions and duties to be performed. It periodically evaluates, scrutinizes and monitors the standards followed in different Universities, Degree Awarding Institutions and their affiliated colleges offering computing degree programs. This council awarded the highest category “W” to Sukkur IBA's Computer Science programs.

Pakistan Engineering Council is a statutory body to regulate the engineering profession in the country so that it functions as a key driving force for achieving rapid and sustainable growth in all national, economic and social fields. The council as its mission sets and maintains realistic and internationally relevant standards of professional competence and ethics for engineers. PEC accredited our B.E Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering programs.


International Accreditation of Programs

Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level. The AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn. Sukkur IBA is member of AACSB and our application for initial accreditation process has been accepted and mentor is also provided by AACSB. Currently, Sukkur IBA University is working on development of an Initial Self Evaluation Report with guidance of assigned mentor.

The Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) was established in 1988, with the initiative of leading management development institutions in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. AMDISA is an international not-for-profit association, and is a “SAARC Recognized Body”. It has 206 Members, of which 187 are Institutional Members from the SAARC region, 4 Affiliate Members, 1 Corporate Member and 14 Reciprocal Members. Membership is available to management development networks all over the world.
Sukkur IBA is the member of AMDISA and pursuing for SAQA accreditation, recently a mentor is assigned from AMDISA. Currently, Sukkur IBA University is working on Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Information.

The EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) is a school accreditation system. It specializes in higher education institutions of management and business administration, run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EQUIS has accredited 172 institutions in 41 countries around the world. Currently, Sukkur IBA University is the member of EFMD and pursuing for EQUIS accreditation.
