Biography
Dr. Javed Ahmed completed a postdoc at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2020. He was awarded an ERCIM fellowship for conducting postdoctoral research. He also completed dual Ph.D. degrees in 2017 on an Erasmus Mundus scholarship from the following University: the University of Bologna, University of Turin, Autonoma de Barcelona Universitat, and the University of Luxembourg. Prior to this, Dr. Ahmed was awarded a EURECA scholarship from European Commission in 2009 to conduct short-term research at the University of Paderborn, Germany. He also did MS Computer Science from the National University of Emerging Science, Karachi, in 2007. Dr. Ahmed has vast teaching and research experience. He has been associated with Sukkur IBA University since 2002. He also taught at IBA Karachi as a visiting faculty from 2006-2009. He has more than 30 research publications. Dr. Ahmed has research interest in the following areas: Blockchain, GDPR, Data Protection & Privacy, Online Social Networks. Dr. Ahmed also has the status of being HEC Approved Supervisor.
