Biography

Mr Raja Shahzad is associated with Sukkur IBA University for the last twelve years. He is currently working as Assistant Professor (Finance and Accounting) in Business Department. He teaches Portfolio Management, Strategic Financial Management, International Economics and Finance, Financial Management and Financial Accounting. Dr Raja Shahzad recently completed his PhD in Finance at one of the top 100 and triple accredited Durham University in the United Kingdom. His thesis includes a computational content analysis of Central Bank Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes. More specifically his research interest includes analysis of the impact of the central bank's optimistic (pessimistic) tone on investor sentiment, risk assessment, risk tolerance and trading behaviour in financial markets. His area of research also includes monetary policy, central bank communications, investor sentiments, trading behaviour and risk aversion. Before his PhD, he completed his MSc. Accounting and Finance from Durham University and MBA Finance at Sukkur IBA.
