Biography

Dr. Arfan Hyder is an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He received his PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His work focuses on applying mathematical analysis and numerical methods to understand complex fluid flow and heat transfer phenomena. His research investigates ternary hybrid nanofluids, magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer flows, and melting heat transfer processes. Through mathematical modelling and numerical simulation, Dr. Hyder studies how electromagnetic forces, thermal radiation, and phase change influence fluid motion and thermal transport in engineering systems. These nonlinear problems are analyzed using similarity transformations and numerical techniques such as the Keller box method. Dr. Hyder has published several peer reviewed research articles in international journals and has presented his research at academic conferences. His work aims to strengthen the role of applied mathematics in solving practical engineering problems, particularly in advanced thermal management and transport processes.
