Biography
Dr Hassan Syed is an assistant professor in the Department of Education at Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur Pakistan. Born and brought up in Pakistan, he obtained his doctoral degree in Education from the University of York, United Kingdom, in 2016, and master in ELT from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, in 2012. He also worked as Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Education at the University of York from 2014 to 2016. His current research interests are: individual difference variables in applied linguistics, role of mother tongue in L2 learning and L2 literacy in higher education.
