Biography
Engr. Sohail Ahmed has been associated with Sukkur IBA University for past six years. He has done master Diploma in Digital Fabrication from Fab Academy Barcelona. Fab Academy is based on MIT's popular rapid-prototyping course How To make (almost) Anything, taught by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld (Director Center for Bits and Atoms MIT USA). Mr. Soomro is also Coordinator of Pakistan's First Fab Lab at Sukkur IBA University (Khairpur Campus). He is also a certified Lab VIEW CLAD Engineer approved by National Instruments USA. He is the active professional member of IEEE and IEEE Sukkur IBA Student Branch Counselor. He was also awarded with ICT R&D Scholarship in 2008 for Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering. Research interests: Digital Control Systems and Power Electronics Teaching interests: Embedded Systems, Control System, Power Electronics, FPGA Based System Design
