Biography

Meet Mr. Masroor Ali Soomro, a passionate and dynamic professional in the field of Management and HR. Currently working as a full-time permanent Senior faculty member for HR & OB at Sukkur IBA University. He is also a professional corporate training consultant offering his expertise in soft skills, technical skills, and HR training consultancy services. With a keen interest in time management, stress management, conflict management, change management, attitude management, leadership, decision making, behavioral modeling, and employee performance management, Mr. Soomro is a go-to person for all your professional training needs. Mr. Soomro's academic qualifications are impressive and showcase his dedication towards learning and growth. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resource Management from IQRA University Main Campus Karachi, and an equivalency in Master of Philosophy in HRM from Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. In addition to this, he has completed several diplomas in management sciences and information technology from SZABIST and Sindh Board of Technical Education Karachi, Pakistan. A researcher with interests in digital HRM, innovation HRM, transformational leadership, AI in HRM, and sustainable/green HRM. Your research explores the potential of technology and innovative practices to transform HRM practices and enhance employee performance and well-being. He is also interested in the potential of AI to automate and improve HR processes, and in exploring sustainable HRM practices that align with environmental concerns. Overall, his research seeks to create positive change in HRM practices for the benefit of employees, organizations, and the environment With his expertise and experience, Mr. Soomro has also served as an external associate trainer consultant for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), the pioneering gas company of Pakistan in the energy sector. Mr. Soomro's teaching methodology is innovative and engaging, focusing on participative learning in class where students contribute to course content. He uses role-plays, movies, multimedia presentations, cases, and simulations to make his lectures more interactive and effective. Furthermore, his professional certifications from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, showcase his commitment towards continued professional development and growth.
