Biography
Mr. Irfan Ali earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical (Computer) Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology through a fully-funded “Prime Minister National Information Communication Technology Rural and Development (ICT R&D)” scholarship. He later completed his master's degree in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, Pakistan. During his bachelor's studies, he was also awarded a prestigious scholarship by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), enabling him to spend a semester as an exchange student at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Okmulgee, USA — one of the most renowned institutions globally. Previously, he was associated with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus. With over 8 years of teaching and research experience at the university level, Mr. Irfan Ali's research interests focus on scheduling algorithms, parallel computing, and scheduling techniques for multi-core processing systems. His scholarly contributions have been published in international, impact-factor research journals and presented at international conferences.
