ME in Communication and Electronics Engineering
Goals and objectives:
The objective of this program is to establish a meritorious platform and center of excellence in the diverse fields of electronics and communication. With highly qualified faculty and excellent on- campus facilities. This program is ideally suitable for mid-career professionals and fresh graduates looking to augment their technical competence with consolidated teaching/ learning of advanced and emerging technologies and research.
Degree Requirements for ME
For completion of ME degree, the candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Candidate must have completed ME studies either through Thesis work or through Course work.

ME with Thesis Work:
- Candidates must have completed 24 credit hours Course work.
- Candidate must submit the thesis and defend their thesis after they are approved by the internal and the external examiners

ME with Course Work:
- Candidates must have completed 30 credit hours Course work.
- Candidate must submit the Project report and defend in front of Doctoral Committee.

ME with Thesis Work:
- Candidate must have cleared two non-credit courses offered as SIBA Core courses
- Candidate must secure/maintain minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.2 (on a scale of 4)
Admission Requirements:
Both programs are offered as
- ME Full time program
- ME Part time program
Further, both programs have two tracks
- ME with Thesis
- ME with Course Work
ME program comprises of 04 semesters. Part time students can take maximum load of six (06) credit hours in each semester, whereas full time students can take up to twelve (12) credit hours in each semester.
