Kandhkot city is situated in the north of the province Sindh, Pakistan. From the education point of view the literacy rate of Kandhkot and its nearby districts (Jacobabad & Shikarpur) is quite lower than the other districts of Sindh.

The idea behind running a campus of Sukkur IBA University here is to serve the community from the different direction towards achieving a quality education and increasing the education literacy rate, which will result in prosperity, critical independent thinking, education values, national and international exposure, and especially developing a welfare and peaceful society.
